Letterboxd is an ecumenical gregarious network for grass-roots film discussion and revelation.It sanctions users to record and apportion their opinion about films, keep track of films they’ve optically discerned, rate and review films, and find and follow friends.

Features and Membership:

Letterboxd has apps for iOS, Android, and Apple TV.Paying members get adscititious features such as an ad-free experience, personalized stats pages, watchlist notifications, and the faculty to clone other members’ lists. Letterboxd is in liberty to utilize, but some features are only available to Pro or Patron account holders. There is no payment for reviews, but members can build their own paying audience via accommodations like Patreon.

An account is required to log films or otherwise participate on Letterboxd.
To become a member, simply engender an account.There is no cost to utilize the accommodation.You can close your account in the settings, and deactivated accounts are obnubilated from view.Perpetually expunging your account is an option, and deactivated accounts can be reactivated.

General use:
You can mark films as watched, rate films, and perform other actions from the actions menu on each film’s poster.
Logging a film allows you to record the date you watched it and add an optional review.
Lists and collections of films can be easily made and shared.
Letterboxd is not a streaming service, but it does link to films on other services.
Difference between marking a film watched and logging it:
Marking a film as watched tells letterboxd you’ve seen the film at some point in the past.
Logging a film records that you watched it on a particular date and builds up your diary and recent activity section.
To remove a film from your watched list, unmark it as watched and remove any diary entries, reviews, or ratings for the film.
You can retrospectively add diary entries for films you’ve marked as watched to complete your diary.
Difference between liking and rating a film:
Liking a film shows you enjoyed it and builds up your profile and likes pages.
Rating a film gives your friends an idea of how much you loved or hated it and can be sorted for making year-end lists.
